KSIP IMPROVING TEACHING QUALITY (ITQ) WEBINAR COURSES 2020
DESCRIPTION
Education is changing before our very eyes. COVID-19 has disrupted the old normal and to remain relevant the way we do education must transform. Schools, teaching, teachers, parents, and students must engage with new ways, technologies and most important of all strong ethics to move into the future of our dreams. The KSIP Improving Teacher/Teaching Quality series will engage your minds, hearts and hands with strategies, tools and support you need to transform your teaching and your school to deliver the transformative, innovative and quality education that is needed for times like this. You cannot afford to miss these series.
Experience suggests that, in best practice, training / CPD programmes are embedded into the work of the school. These series will provide an opportunity for participants to become highly effective practitioners who can have a direct input in supporting and training the type of teachers they would wish to see as colleagues. These competent and confident practitioners can then play a vital role in consistently improving the educational outcomes of our young people.
These training sessions will provide insight into key topics, processes, and evidence-based strategies, which can be used in schools virtually and face to face to improve the quality and impact of teaching and learning. The sessions are planned in such a way that they will challenge expectations through detailed consideration of relevant educational concepts and ideas, and how these can be consistently and effectively applied in schools.
The sessions, delivered through webinar style presentations, discussions and opportunities for peer reflections and questioning, will avail participants with the opportunity to explore and engage with new ideas and models of learning.
The KSIP courses will, therefore, enable participants to develop distinctive context-based ideas, to make valuable contributions to whole- school/home/virtual teaching and learning, thereby, improving the achievement and progress of all young people.
